  U. a. arbeitete er mit den »Duisburger Sinfonikern« zusammen, deren Gastdirigenten Persönlichkeiten waren wie Richard Strauss, Paul Hindemith, Carl Schuricht, Max Reger, Hans Pfitzner, Aaram Chatschaturjan und Bruno Walter.
